Version 2.0 of everyone’s favorite list! Here are the restaurants we have enjoyed visiting recently with our children and we weren’t thrown out.
Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Princeton, New Jersey
Located in the Mercer Mall, I loved all of their healthy options (sorry, bikini season is here). It’s a fast casual restaurant that doesn’t mind kids and offers a nice selection of food just for them. I love the location because afterward, I can “pop in” and check out what Nordstrom Rack has.
Who doesn’t like hamburgers and french fries? (what bikini season?) The Habit is located in front of Zoe’s Kitchen and is the same style of fast casual. We love the burgers here, and Max will quietly shove fries into his mouth for a whole 10 minutes which is pretty much my idea of heaven. Also, the kid’s meal comes with a mini hamburger gummy which is Ava’s idea of heaven.
Ok, I know what you’re thinking but bare with me on this one. Yes, it’s a brewery, and no I don’t recommend that you go on a Friday or Saturday night with your children. But during the week it’s a great place to go with your family and here’s why: it’s loud (so no one can hear your kids yell), the food is delicious, and mom can have an adult beverage. Mom drinking good craft beer is obviously the most important factor in this one (Heaven IS a place on Earth!).
I know, I know, I was really hesitant about this one as well, but it was nothing like what I thought it would be. Our waitress immediately sat us down and handed each of my kids their own iPad. In my book that was pretty amazing. Both kids were occupied for the majority of our dinner playing games and watching videos. The wings were tasty, and there were actually a ton of families (and not a ton of drunk college kids) enjoying dinner as well. Yes, they have adult beverages if mama had a rough day.
